John S. Jupina Jr. ❤️ passed away on February 12, 2002, at the age of 76, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Jessup, PA, he graduated from the University of Cincinnati and went on to serve as an Aviator in the A.A.F. Air Cadets on Tinian Island in the South Pacific during World War II. John ❤️ also served as an Airman Second Class High-Speed Radio Operator during the Korean Conflict, earning Theater and Victory medals along with three Bronze Stars.
Following his military service, John ❤️ became a Landscape Architect, contributing to many notable buildings, including the University of Pennsylvania Museum. His craftsmanship extended to the construction of the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) before he transitioned into managing Parks and Recreational facilities in Bucks County, PA. After 25 years of dedicated service, he and his wife Margaret retired to Arizona in 1990.
John ❤️ was an avid hunter, fisherman, golfer, and bowler. Above all, he was a devoted husband to Margaret and a loving father to their three daughters: Diane Weiss, Marilyn Kretzu, and Marybeth Whitehurst. He was also a proud grandfather to Roxanne, Frank, Britta, Leona, Maggie, and Brad, and a great-grandfather to Courtney and John. He is lovingly remembered by his sister, Marion Namura, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen ❤️
