Gabriella Marie Velazquez “Gabby“, age 14, of Allentown, tragically passed away on July 11, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. A lifelong resident of Allentown, she was the cherished daughter of Gabriel A. Velazquez and Kristyn Shea (Snyder) Velazquez. Gabby was set to begin her 10th grade at Allentown Central Catholic High School and had a profound enthusiasm for cheerleading. She had earned notable recognition as a cheerleader with the World Cup, an esteemed all-star cheerleading team.
Gabby’s memory will be lovingly held by her mother, Kristyn; father, Gabriel; her brother, Adrian Velazquez; her sisters, Audriana Velazquez and Ciana Velazquez; her maternal grandparents, Kris Snyder and Donna Parry; her paternal grandparents, Antonio Velazquez and Rebecca Roman; and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A service to honor Gabby’s life is scheduled for Monday, July 15, 2024, at 2:30 PM at Faith Church, located at 6528 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown. There will be a period for informal visitation from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., at 250 Main Street, Emmaus, PA 18049, to create a cheerleading scholarship in Gabby’s memory.

We come before you, Blessed Virgin Mary, with hearts full of love and sorrow as we remember Gabriella Marie Velazquez. We seek your comforting embrace and your gentle intercession as we honor the life of this beautiful young soul who has returned to the Father’s loving arms.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
You, who know the depths of a mother’s love and the pain of loss, intercede for Gabriella’s family in their time of grief. Surround them with your maternal care and bring them solace and strength. Help them to find peace in the promise of eternal life and the hope of resurrection through your Son, Jesus Christ.
Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
We entrust Gabriella into your loving care, confident that she rests in the peace of Christ. May she be welcomed into the heavenly kingdom with joy and eternal happiness. We ask that you guide her spirit and keep her close to the heart of Jesus, where she will know no more pain but only the fullness of divine love.

We invoke You, Holy Spirit, to embrace Gabriella with Your divine presence. As she rests in the loving arms of the Father, we ask You to surround her with Your comforting and renewing grace. Let Your light shine upon her and bring her the eternal peace of Christ.
And enkindle in her the fire of Your love.
May Gabriella be enveloped in the boundless love of God, a love that knows no end. Ignite her spirit with the warmth of Your divine affection and the joy of eternal life. Let her be forever united with the heart of Jesus, basking in the fullness of Your heavenly grace.
Send forth Your Spirit and she shall be created;
Renew Gabriella in the glory of Your presence, transforming her into a radiant reflection of Your love and peace. May her soul be refreshed and her spirit renewed as she experiences the fullness of the eternal joy promised by Christ.
And You shall renew the face of the earth.
Guide and watch over Gabriella in her heavenly home. Strengthen her family and loved ones with Your comforting presence, and help them to find solace in the assurance of eternal life. May Your gifts of wisdom and peace be a source of strength to them as they navigate this time of grief.
